The City of Fort Myers, Florida, Expands Digital Services and Resident Access with CivicPlus Platform Integration
Unified digital services strengthen accessibility, delivering a connected and data-driven experience for residents

- Resident issue reporting: The city introduced its “FixMyFort,” platform in July 2025, a SeeClickFix 311 CRM integration, that allows residents to quickly report and track local issues, resulting in over 300 submissions within the first month.
- Record Management: The city utilizes the Social Media Archiving tool to securely preserve social posts and code updates, meeting revolving public-record requirements and compliance mandates.
- Accessible by design: By implementing CivicPlus accessibility-first templates, the site aims to meet ADA compliance so all residents can engage with government resources
Additionally, the City of Fort Myers is committed to continuing its modernization efforts. After recently transitioning to a gov domain, the city looks to reinforce security and credibility through its expanded department sub-sites, AI chatbot, and mobile-friendly interface under the unified fortmyers.gov domain name.
